Lineage allows you to create and manage family trees with a focus on simplicity, privacy, and cultural context.
Lineage does not collect, store, or transmit your family tree data to external servers. Your personal family information remains stored locally on your device.
The data you enter (such as names, dates, relationships, Gotra, and lineage information) is stored locally on your device solely for app functionality.
Lineage does not use advertising SDKs, third-party tracking, or sell user data.
The app may interact with Apple App Store or Google Play services for app distribution, in-app purchases, purchase restoration, and platform-required functionality.
Lineage offers optional notifications, such as Daily Quiz reminders. Notifications are entirely optional and can be enabled or disabled from within the app.
Data is only shared when you explicitly export or share it using features provided inside the app.
The app does not automatically upload or transmit your family data.
Lineage is designed with a privacy-first architecture. Your family tree data remains stored locally on your device.
Lineage offers optional in-app voluntary contributions to support continued development. The app remains fully functional without any purchase. There are no subscriptions, advertisements, or paywalls.
All payments are securely processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store billing systems.
We do not collect, process, or store your payment card or banking information.
Lineage is not directed toward children under the age required by local digital consent laws.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
